Dutch Smock Mill, Pella
This traditional Dutch smock mill in Pella, Iowa, is based on an 1850 design from Groningen, Holland, and is an operating windmill. Team Forrest spent many hours creating the brick exterior, completing the project in 2002.
Principal Riverwalk, Des Moines
The Principal Riverwalk is a recreational park district along the banks of the Des Moines River. After eight years of work, it was completed in January 2013.

The Fountain at Prairie Trail
Enhance brick with contrast and turn outdoor spaces into art? Forrest & Associate was pleased to do both in the District at Prairie Trail in Ankeny.
As the area was developed, Forrest took part in the building construction as early as 2009. The courtyard is the exclamation point of the area, with an artistic brick inlay, a stone water fountain and green spaces – an open area that invites everyone to stop and enjoy a beautiful day.
UnityPoint Hospital, West Des Moines
When is a fireplace not a fireplace?
When it’s a waterfall!
This artistic design, which gives the viewer the impression of a fireplace, is instead a very creative way to get people to take a second look. This unique waterfall is found at UnityPoint Hospital in West Des Moines, Iowa, and blends wood, stone, and water to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
St. Anthony’s Grotto
In 2011, Team Forrest constructed this one-of-a-kind structure in the Des Moines area.
